in north India.

- · 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
- · 2 Green chili
- · 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- · 1 tsp Red chili powder
- · 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- · 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder
- · 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- · 5-6 tsp Vegetable oil
- · Salt to taste
- Green coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
Cut
the paneer into small cubes and fry them golden brown in oil to make them
crispy. Then cut the tomatoes and put them in mixture along with ginger garlic
paste and chopped green chili. Now put the vegetable oil in the pan and let it
heat until oil become hot, then put pinch of asafoetida (hing), cumin seeds,
bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon in the oil and let the flavor infused together
then put the tomato puree in pan and add the turmeric powder, red chili powder,
and coriander powder into the mixture, now let it cook for 3-5 minutes, until
it starts leaving the oil. Then add the roasted cumin powder, salt according to
your taste and garam masala. Now add the peas and paneer cubes to the mixture
and let it cook, so that peas and paneer will soak the flavor of the mixture.
Add water to make balance the consistency of gravy. Let it cook for another 1-2
minutes. Garnish it with chopped coriander and serve it hot with naan, paratha,
tandoori roti or jeera rice.
