Paneer Bhurji

8:56 PM | Publish by manishdhane

Rain is pushing us hard to eat something hot, spicy and tangy so I am giving this awesome alternative to Egg Bhurji for those who avoid eggs. Enjoy!!!

This paneer delicacy is adored by everyone who tastes it is prepared with paneer (cottage cheese) crumbled and then cooked with a choice of onions, tomatoes and selected Masalas.

INGREDIENTS

·                     200gms Paneer
·                     2 Onion
·                     1 Capsicum
·                     1/2 tspn chilli powder/ pepper powder
·                     1/2 tspn Garam Masala powder
·                     1 tsp Dhaniya/ coriander seeds powder
·                     1 tsp Lemon juice
·                     1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
·                     2 Green chilies
·                     Coriander leaves, finely chopped
·                     1 tsp Jeera
·                     1 tbsp Oil

If you are using frozen paneer, either thaw it until room temperature or boil water and keep immersed for 10 minutes. Drain the water completely and crumble it in a food processor. Don't use mixer it well make a paste instead of crumbling it.

Heat a pan with oil and splutter jeera, add finely chopped ginger garlic paste and green chilies, followed by finely chopped onion and tomato. Fry till transparent and add the chopped capsicum. You can omit onion if you don’t like it.

Fry for a minute and add coriander leaves, all the powders and give it a quick stir without burning them.
Now lastly add crumbled paneer and mix well. Fry for 2 minutes or until dry and add the lemon juice and mix well.

Garnish with Coriander leaves.

There are so many options to eat it with. Serve it hot with roti, naan or any stuffed parathas too or you can also have it with evening tea…Wrap it or just have it as a side dish; you can even eat it as such! Tastes awesome and damn easy to make!

Special Tip for Indories: We can always add senv on top of it.
